Debra received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Brooklyn College in New York City. She graduated with honors as the Salutatorian at John Marshall Law School. She began practicing law in Georgia in 1996 specializing in family law (divorce, child custody and visitation, child support and juvenile law), as well as consumer bankruptcy, and criminal defense (felony & misdemeanor). Debra also serves as a mediator in Forsyth County Magistrate Court and regularly mediates all aspects of family law cases.

Prior to her legal career, Debra was an English instructor at the University of Mexico teaching bilingual education. She later became a programmer analyst and trainer for several multinational corporations. Debra’s vast, multi-dimensional experience and training offers her clients litigation and non-litigation perspectives. However, her philosophy and ultimate goal for the families that she assists is to provide quality legal services that result in lasting solutions.

Debra is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, Family Law Section, Consumer Bankruptcy Section of Georgia Bar Association, Metropolitan Atlanta Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney of Georgia (MACBAG). She is licensed to practice with the Georgia Bar and US District Court-Northern District of Georgia.
